FAQs
Will Broad Oak reservoir be built?
We are currently consulting on plans to build the reservoir as part of our Water Resources Management Plan (WRMP) 2024.
The best value plan within the WRMP has the reservoir being operational in 2036, however we want your views on accelerating the plans to build it by 2033 and follows feedback received during our 2019 water resources management plan consultation.
Proposals to build it by 2033 are within our WRMP alternative plan.
